Syed M Feisal was born in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. He had his early education in Malaysia and then graduated from Columbia University New York, New York City with a BSc in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he worked for several MNCs such as Motorola and Exxon Mobil before embarking on his journey as an entrepreneur. As an event manager, his first event was the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (Lima) in 1997 and continued to many other international and reputable events in Malaysia and the region. With an experience of more than 25 years in the industry, he has become a prominent event manager with two acknowledgements from the Malaysia Book of Records.
A former State Cyclist, National Coach and Manager, and presently the most respected International Commissaire in Asia, Jamaludin Mahmood is the pioneer in developing professional cycling events in Asia. He was the UCI Asia Tour Advisor from 2005-2010. He is involved in almost all major professional cycling events in Asia such as Tour of Japan, Tour of China, Tour de Taiwan and Tour de Korea to name a few.
His vast experience and expertise surpass any individuals in Asia in cycling organisation. He also served with the Malaysia National Sports Council (NSC) from 1994-1998 developing cycling athletes and teams. He has also developed other races in Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia which catapults Cycling events from amateurs to UCI sanctioned races.
